The cats are housed in Individual Cages which are 48” tall with perches and each has a towel or cat bed for the cat to sleep on. We are a limited-access facility; when one kitten or cat is adopted, another is taken in. Kittens and cats are not put to sleep unless they are too ill or injured to recover. Adoption fees, release fees and private donations are our only source of revenue to support them.

Kittens and cats come to us from many places including high-kill shelters, individual rescuers, and owners. Usually, owners who give up housecats do so because of lifestyle changes out of their control. Most kitties have wonderful stories of their lives before coming to RC for foster care. |
