Minimum fees for relinquishment - Read carefully to determine correct amount:
We must have copies of all current vet records. We ask for veterinary test results on the relinquishment form. You do not need to have this information now... but you must prove you did it before we can accept your cat. We urge you to complete the Relinquishment Form NOW to secure your cat's position on the waiting list for foster care. Vet records are to be delivered at the time of your cat's relinquishment. There is normally a waiting period for cats needing foster care. You have time to get your pet vaccinated and/or tested before we contact you. 1 Kitten or cat: 6 months - 6 years: NOT spayed/neutered, *vaccinated and **tested. $100
1 Kitten or cat: 6 months - 6 years: NOT spayed/neutered and *vaccinated. $75
1 Kitten or cat: 6 months - 6 years: ALREADY spayed/neutered, *vaccinated and **tested. $50
1 Cat 7 years and older: ALREADY spayed/neutered, *vaccinated and **tested. $100 (Senior cats tend to need dental work, special foods, more exams and blood work... please consider a higher donation amount for their care).
Litter of kittens: under 3 months with their mother. $150
1 Kitten: 3 - 6 months. $35.00
1 kitten: under 3 months. $25.00
1 Newborn kitten needing bottle feeding. $50 (Please consider a higher donation as kitten formula is expensive).
Pregnant cat: $150
**Testing must be current (within the past three months). Required testing is for FeLV and FIV. *Vaccinations must be current (within the past 12 months). Required vaccinations are Rabies, RCPC and Bordetella. If you are relinquishing a cat that was previously adopted from us, we will do our best to give you priority. Please keep in mind that it is your cat, and not leased from RescueCats and the same rules apply as with any relinquishment, such as vaccinations & testing being up to date. See the list of rules on the previous page. We do not accept drop off cats at PETsMART or at any foster home as we stay full all year long.
