About
š¾ RescueCats, Inc. ā Saving Lives, One Cat at a Time
Established in June 1999 in North Carolina, RescueCats, Inc. was founded in response to the urgent need to reduce high euthanasia rates in shelters. In August 2000, we relocated to Fayetteville, Georgia, where our mission continues to grow.
š Our Mission
RescueCats is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, state-licensed, and proudly no-kill organization. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless and owner-surrendered kittens and cats, providing them with safety, care, and a second chance at life.
All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered to help combat pet overpopulation. We offer a loving, temporary haven until each animal finds a stable, forever home.
Beyond rescue, we are committed to educating the public about responsible pet ownership, including the critical importance of spaying and neutering. Our goal is to lead by example and inspire others in the animal welfare community.
š Our Impact
As a no-kill rescue, we are proud to have saved over 9,600 cats and kittens since our founding. We remain steadfast in our mission to protect, educate, and advocateāensuring every cat has a chance to thrive.
