Cat Relinquishment Form
After you complete the form we may ask for more information.
If your kitten or cat is accepted into our organization we will contact you by email. At that time you will be asked to use Zelle or Pay Pal at www.rescuecats.org to send the donation that you noted on your form.
After we receive the notification from Zelle or Pay Pal we will set up an appointment for you to bring the kittens or cats to us.
*************************************************************************
Our rescue group is dedicated to helping tame, adoptable cats find safe and loving homes. We are not equipped to accept feral or wild cats who are not socialized to humans.
We are a small rescue group and we can't accept every request for placement.
IF you have a cat or kittens that aren't socialized, we will not be able to take them into our organization. Adopters want kittens and cats that they can easily handle and not hide, or show aggression. They must also use the litter box because they will be indoor cats.
What’s the difference between a tame and wild cat?
A tame cat is one that is comfortable around people, can be handled, and shows signs of being a pet. Wild or feral cats avoid human contact and may react aggressively or fearfully when approached.
If you've encountered a truly wild or unsocialized cat, we recommend contacting a local TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program or animal control for guidance. These cats often thrive best in their natural environments with proper care and population management.
Thank you for understanding and helping us focus our resources on cats who are ready for adoption and human companionship.
